As of January 1st, 2014 the recreational use of marijuana has become legalized within the state of Colorado. Use or possession of marijuana is still considered a federal offense however.
Given the nature of the work that we do and the requirements placed on us by our clients for safety and strict procedural accuracy, we must adhere to federal law, including the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988. Marijuana is a prohibited narcotic under the federal Controlled Substances Act and WJMG™ employees should not use the drug for recreational or other purposes. Use of an illegal federal substance can have a negative impact on obtaining or maintaining continued employment with WJMG.
Any type of intoxication, whether by drug or alcohol is strictly forbidden on the premises and may be grounds for immediate termination.
