- ​API 5CT Casing and Tubing Specification
- Technical specifications for steel casing and tubing pipes used for oil wells in petroleum, natural gas industries and engineered structural pilings. Â The Specification includes pup joints, couplings and accessory materials, and establishes requirements for product specification levels (PSL-1, PSL-2, and PSL-3). - Procedures for the painting of steel surfaces. Broad scope covers specific, general requirements for the application of paint. Does not provide descriptions of surface preparation, pretreatments, selection of primers, or finish coats. Provides procedures and methods for application of coating.
